Terms & Conditions - Open Courses

Bookings

Bookings may be made by phone, fax, email or online.  Bookings will be confirmed when payment is received. 

Price

Courses will be charged at the price shown on the website or confirmed by email at the time of booking.  We reserve the right to change course fees without notice.  All fees exclude VAT.

The price includes tuition, course materials and all refreshments.  Any travel and accommodation costs incurred are your responsibility.

Payment

Payment must be received at least 14 days prior to the course start date, unless booking is made within 14 days of the course, in which case payment must be received within three working days of the booking date.  For corporate bookings invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date.

Online payment will be confirmed by email within 24 hours. Credit cards are accepted. Cheques should be made payable to Speak First Limited.

Cancellations

Where Speak First cancels a course we guarantee a place on the same course on the next available date, or to refund in full any payment received in respect of that course. Speak First will not be liable for any other costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.

Where you need to cancel your booking, please call us on 020 7428 9500. Non-attendance for any reason will be treated as a cancellation. In exceptional circumstances we may re-schedule your course place – this must be confirmed in advance with our office in writing.

30 days or more before the course – full refund
15-30 days before a course – 50% of the course fee
1-14 days before a course – 100% of course fee (50% if you reschedule your booking at the time of cancellation)

Joining Instructions

Speak First will send you joining instructions which include venue details, course timings, any pre-work required and a location map.

All intellectual property rights in any materials related to or used in the provision of open courses remain the property of Speak First Ltd.  As the client you may not disseminate or use any materials without our written consent.

All information is provided by us in good faith and Speak First Ltd will not be held responsible for actions taken by you or any other individual in your organisation as a result of the information provided during or after our services.
